Toy’s For Tot’s

October 8, 2009

Hi everyone!

The new england tuna season is winding down for most of us.  Lets be thankful that we all got the opportunity to get out there and battle some tuna this year.  While we pack away our tuna catching TOY’S for the winter let’s think about the kids in our communities that are at a disadvantage.  Times are tough for lots of families and the holidays are fast approaching so I thought I’d mention one of my favorite charities:  The Toy’s For Tots Foundation – Run by the US marines this organization has put smiles on the faces of millions of children (and their parents) during the holiday season(s).

For several years now, my company has been a toy drop off center during the holiday season with great results.  For the cost of a single tuna lure, you can put a smile on the face of a child during the holidays.  Please see their website WWW.tosfortots.org

Thanks!

First post.  Anyone interested in sharing Bluefin tuna fishing tactics and strategies for Cape cod Bay and the Gulf of Maine can sign up here.  We are going to try to update daily during the season.  During the off season we are going to post various topics regarding: equiptment maintenance, lure and squid-bar construction as well as any events for the avid Bulefin angler.  Martin E.
